Introduction

Bacchus, God of Wine, is a OP and Broken God. On my first time as this God, I got 8 kills early game, and only started reaching assists late game - 28 of them!

I feel that Bacchus is very overpowered Early Game with his Tankiness, and can kill things easily back then when only upgrading on health and protections. Though late game this may result in no kills, you are a Guardian, what do you expect?

Bacchus is a Tank, or a Guardian. You should build him like this. He is supposed to support his team in getting kills, and is supposed to die very rarely. Let's take a look at his moveset.

Skills

Bacchus is very poor with his Basic Attacks, and his skills make up how he plays. He has one of the most effective ultimate's in the game, so if used correctly, you can be very useful. His passive makes up who he is, so let's take a look at that first.

Passive: Drunk-O-Meter

Buff, Self

Bacchus has a meter that displays "Thirsty, Tipsy, Smashed", from Thirsty to Smashed in height order. When this meter reaches "Tipsy", Bacchus takes 7% less damage, and gains 10 Magical Power. When this meter reaches "Smashed", Bacchus takes 14% less damage, and gains 30 Magical Power.

Ability 1: Chug

Buff, Self

But how does one raise the Drunk-O-Meter? Simple, Chug some of your alcohol! It raises 35% On your Drunk-O-Meter, but beware as the Drunk-O-Meter will drop every second. This ability also gives an additional buff for 6 seconds, which means when you kill a god during this period, Bacchus celebrates and gains an additional 10% on the Drunk-O-Meter.

Ability 2: Belly Flop

Leap, Enemy, Magical

Bacchus jumps into the air, and slams down hard on the ground. This knocks all enemies hit into the air, along with dealing damage to them. Additionally, when the Drunk-O-Meter is "Tipsy" or higher, he will slow any enemy hit.

Ability 3: Belch of the Gods

Cone, Enemy, Magical

Bacchus brings a sto- Hold on... Is that belch!? Bacchus belches, and it surprisingly will deal damage to enemy gods hit by it, every 0.5 seconds for 2 seconds. Additionally, if Tipsy or higher, enemies will be stunned for the duration, and healing will be reduced. Along with this, Bacchus is Immune to Knockback for the duration.

Ultimate: Intoxicatee

Area, Enemy, Magical

All nearby enemies are intoxicated and injured, moving around uncontrollably to the left and the right. If "Smashed", Bacchus also gains a power buff.

Thats all I have to offer.

I aint working hard for a long guide... I really don't care. I gave you a build, what else do you want? Enjoy this guide pls! :D

Solid tank build. Just curious, if you really don't care, why did you even bother? It would be great if you gave a bit more information and reasoning for your build, which, again, is solid going full tank.

Regarding the early kills, I think this depends on a lot of things. Maybe I just suck in comparison to you, but I've found that when I'm the main tank as Bacchus, my effectiveness REALLY depends on how well my teammates support me. Once you unleash your abilities, you're sort of a sitting duck. His damage really isn't that good early game compared to some assassins or mages, so your 8 kills likely relied upon a little luck with you getting the last hit on his Belch of the Gods or finishing off a retreating enemy with Belly Flop, not because he's a wrecking machine.

Here's a bit of my random thought process, with no real direction...perhaps it's playstyle or opinion or whatever, but I'm thinking that as a last item, Bulwark of Hope may be a better magical defense item for univeral function than Stone of Gaia. I guess, combining the 25 HP5 from Gaia, the 25 HP5 from Sov, and the 2% max health HP5 passive from Gaia, you're looking at almost 500 health every 20 seconds, so maybe that combo works well...just curious how long you find yourself out without going back to base, though. The 450 health from Bulwark is perhaps more functional against burst damage, and extra health is more functional against physical enemies as well. By end game, I'm guessing enemies don't even bother attempting to attack you since you're so tanky. If I need to go full tank, I'll try this build.

Oh, one last thought...ever consider a damage item as the 6th? You have almost no penetration on the build, which I understand as you're going pretty much full tank, but since he does have SOME damage potential ( Drunk-O-Meter and Intoxicate giving some natural power boosts along with decent scaling), getting Obsidian Shard or Spear of the Magus might be really functional.

Edit: Oh, one final thought...actives...ever consider getting Shield of the Underworld? Could be a great alternate way to damage enemies if you're the center of attention and building full tank.

Thanks for the reply! I dont think I will update this guide. Yeah, I know, I am lazy.
