Items Explained

Warrior Tabi/Jotunn's/Stone Cutting is an excellent combination of power, movement speed, and penetration/anti-protections, and protections. Stone Cutting is such a gem; really nice amount of physical power, lowers protections, and it provides you with protections which can stack up to potentially -30/+30 if you get 3 basics off (you will).

I throw on Titan's Bane next because usually I'm going up against a Warrior or a Guardian of some sort. Adding Titan's Bane to the core changes the game when it comes to fighting those beefier opponents, you will now have Warriors and Guardians running away from you.

Bloodforge is a personal favorite item, a really massive +75 physical power, 15% life steal which is always lovely, and a massive shield that will help you either escape or keep fighting after you secure that kill. Optionally this can be swapped out for Transcendence, as the increase in physical power is significant with that item as well, I prefer the utility that Bloodforge offers and I don't find myself needing mana as much by 5th item.

Lastly, just to spice things up and be incredibly rude, throw on that Deathbringer or Wind Demon just because. Deathbringer is amazing for sheer power and critical focus, Wind Demon is fun to be annoying with because of the attack speed and movement speed increases in addition to the critical chance.

The Fight/Combos

What I love about Awilix are the options that I have with her. My combos and fights look different depending on the scenario. If I'm going head up with someone I'll throw Suku out with Moonlight Charge while making my way toward the opponent, Moonlight Charge triggers your Feather Step if you want to go right in for it when you're in range (this is good if the opponent was already at half bar). I like to try and pop Feather Step after 2-3 basics (this is where Stone Cutting Blade gets dangerous for the opponent) because then Moonlight Charge is most likely off CD shortly thereafter. By this time the opponent is damaged by Suku, damaged by your basics, damaged generously by Feather Step with the help of Stone Cutting's effect, then Suku comes flying again to knock them up (because you'll be behind them at this point) and if you are fighting a squish (Hunter, Mage, Assassin) they should be dead with a couple more basics as they land, but if you are fighting a tank, just pop Gravity Surge and follow up with another Feather Step.

This is usually how my combo goes, but again it depends on the situation. CD times are not bad at all for Awilix which make it easy to respond in many different ways.

Summon Suku is a great initiating leap for attacks, or a great finisher if the opponent is running away. In addition, Summon Suku is a great escape to hop over walls or to move faster and gain distance from the opponent. Be smart in how you use this ability, you're going to have to do a little critical thinking and foreshadowing to plan the usage right.

I'm always open for discussion/feedback. I hope you enjoyed this guide!

I think what adavance troller (gee, what an ingenious name!) meant to say was...there are maybe some things to consider in your build, and maybe some adjustments to be made.

Firstly, with a guide, it would be good to see your suggested skill leveling order. You might have just missed the tab, which switches between item purchase order and skill order.

Second, if this is for Conquest, it's suggested to list starting items...it would be obvious in many ways ( Bumba's Mask + 2nd item + potions), but still important to see.

Another weird thing is that you've put Bloodforge in both the penetration and critical item groups...and it has neither. Probably just a mistake here?

Regarding the items, well, I'm not an Awilix expert...Estidien is...but the core looks fine to me...one minor issue is that the cost of Stone Cutting Sword is a bit higher than some other choices at that stage...not a huge issue as long as you're getting the gold. The other would be that it might not be quite the optimal choice at that point if you're facing a reverse-balanced team (2 physical, say ADC and Solo, 3 magical including magical Jungler). It might be good to write the build to allow for adjustments.

As for the rest of the build, if you feel SCS should be built 3rd, consider that it's providing good protection reduction as you stack. Getting Titan's Bane then has 2 things going against it...1) SCS's protection reduction will somewhat reduce the effectiveness of TB's % pen. 2) Your main target is usually a squishy, at least in the earlier parts of the game...you can probably delay this type of pen (%) until later...but if you're already at a point where you can split-push and take down objectives and would like some actual pen, at this point, The Crusher might have some appeal.

With regard to Bloodforge, the power is great...one of the highest in the game. However, lifesteal only works with basic attacks...in combo attacks, some of those will be basics, so you will get some use out of it, but thinking she won't make as much use out of it as some. The shield after a kill can also be nice, so maybe this is more situational, because she also has more mobility than most and has a better chance of getting in and out without dying than many others (as long as I'm not playing her, lol).

Finally, when you DO go crit, it's almost always essential to get 2 crit items. You want some kind of consistency and reliability with crit which you don't get at 20% chance, and it's not really a good reason to get these "just because." It might help a bit if you'd built some attack speed, to get more chances to crit, but you don't have any in your item suggestions.

FYI, when you do ever only go with 1 crit item, I believe Rage is the best from a DPS standpoint...it'll give you the most opportunity to get crits in. However, if you only crit once, Malice would be the best for that...the DoT (damage over time) effect from the passive will actually do more damage than Deathbringer, and at only 20% chance, you're not going to be losing efficiency from resetting the DoT counter often. Still, when going crit, best to get 2 items...otherwise, you might consider additional pen (like Brawler's Beat Stick, which I love on multiple gods and is good against any healers) or perhaps one protection item just to give you better survivability in a scrap.

Anyway, hope this helps!

Hi! Thanks for the feedback. I'm never worried about internet trolls, LOL. I figured if anyone feels they need to be a "troll", there is probably some social disorder involved.

I appreciate all of the feedback! This is a guide for just about everything except for Conquest actually! I need to specify that.

I put Bloodforge in the Crit and Pen alternate builds because I still kind of consider that a core option. To clarify, if I went the Critical route, I would still build Bloodforge with the two Critical items.

For Stone Cutting Sword, I think it is appropriate for it's item slot, but that is personal opinion. With Awilix, I am able to get off enough basic attacks so I can reap the rewards of Stone Cutting and Bloodforge at that. It's easy to get the gold for that item in anything except for Conquest. In addition, it seems Luminosity's Jungler is snagging Stone Cutting in 4th slot for World's. Maybe he saw this, HA, doubt it. :)

I did take into consideration the Critical items suggestions, and I love Rage instead of Deathbringer. That was fantastic and I appreciate that, I've made the changes accordingly.

Thanks so much for your time and the feedback, it was all very valuable!
