Items

Get level one ofand level 2 of
First of all buy meditation for the sustainability, because if you are facing someone good then they will want to deal some tower damage any time to recall staying in your lane as much as possible reason for getting Reinforced boots because this really helps with survivability when gods use any CC on you, and anyway to reduce CC is great.

Finiah off Reinforced boots then getfeeling more aggressive but still want to be tanky always get Void Stone,

after you finished getting Void Stone get Wall of Absolutionone of the best physical defense items for magic tanks

at this point you will have very little Magic damage for my fourth item i goTHIS BEAST of a item gives you a insane amount of damage output with 1 and 3 ability

Next item you will be wanting to go some penetration i preferThis combined with Rod of Tahuti and Bancroft's Talon you will win most one on one fights and that's awesome for a tank.

Last item i obtain iswhich adds a nice bit of life steal and tremendous amount of damage

Creeping / Jungling

The only 2 jungleing buffs i always try and get are Cooldown and Mana regan.

Team Work

Initiating

When entering a team fight, gank or just a 1v1 you ALWAYS enter the fight withPreemptive Strike. Then useShield Wall andstraight away and follow up with auto attacks if desired

Escaping
When you require to make an escape or take a step back you should firstly use Preemptive Strikeif that fails use Defender of Olympusas a last resort.

Team Fights

After you drop in the fight with Preemptive Strike then you use Shield Wall with Confound to give yourself and your team a little advantage in the fight use Defender of Olympus on your melee carrys if the enemy team is bunched together.

Summary

Thank you for taking a look at my Athena guide, i almost Win every game with this build because its just so hard for people to kill Athena, unless of course the whole team ganks you. Which you shouldn't let that happen always watch the map good advice i know XD
Play it safe until level 5 and you should do fine watch your team and their lanes for opportunist Ult Ganks.

The guide is not bad... but I don't think you saw what I've said to everyone else.

Builds like this, in which are rushed and are for a God that was just released, are unprofessional and give the impression that you just want one of the first guides.

The guide is not bad, but it is obviously rushed. It would be preferable if you actually took the time to really learn the God before you make a guide.

The build is one of the better I've seen in these... guides.

I'm not going to get pissed like I did yesterday, but know that I don't like it. This guide clearly shows that you rushed it.
