Bellona dashes forward and bashes with her shield, dealing damage and Slowing enemies. Bellona gains 1 Stack of block for each enemy god hit. Block absorbs all damage from a single Basic Attack and reflects a portion of the damage around her.

Bellona then makes Basic Attacks with sword and shield until she has not taken or dealt damage in the last 7s. Every 3 successful basic attacks she gains another Stack of block (max. 3).

Bellona summons a hammer and spins, hitting every enemy around her and then smashing forward in an overhand attack. Each enemy god hit in the spin increases the damage of the overhand attack.

Bellona now makes Basic Attacks with her hammer until she has not taken or dealt damage in the last 7s. Every hammer attack hits all enemies in melee range and only benefits from 33% of Bellona's total Lifesteal.

Bellona now makes Basic Attacks with a scourge until she has not taken or dealt damage in the last 7s. Basic Attacks have extended range (+4) and every third attack heals Bellona.

Introduction

The overall theme of this build is a tanky assassin Bellona. She can be fairly weak early game, but once you get Hastened Fatalis it is the beginning of the end. The goal is to be able to attack so fast,, steal so much life and hit so hard that even if you're 1 v 2 or in some situations 1 v 3 it won't matter.

Items

Ninja Tabi- This is a pretty basic start for her build. It will help you get attack speed, movement speed as well as some power.

Bloodforge- I like this early game because it helps keep you on the battlefield longer to acquire more gold as well as build more power for late game.

Asi- This and Bloodforge go together like PB&J. It enhances your life steal as well attack speed.

Hastened Fatalis- This is the beginning of the end for your foes. This again will increase movement speed as well as attack speed, but the kicker is that when you hit your enemy you can stay with them so they can't escape unless they use an ability.

Rage- These last two items are all about damage. Up to this point we have been about movement speed, attack speed, life steal which is great but we want to kill the enemy too right? This item adds high crit chance as well as power.

Deathbringer- This item completes your build as a bonafide killer that can't be killed... All you need is kill...

Skills

Unlike most builds for Ballona, Bludgeon isn't that important.

The most important skill is Scourge and Eagles Rally. Scourge will allow you to attack quickly and do extra life steal as well as disarm enemies.

Eagles Rally is important to deal damage starting out when you leap in to start your attack.

Shield Bash is important to get at least to level one so you can either escape or dash to an enemy trying to escape.

Bludgeon is what I use to kill minions which is usually left to scourge. But I like to keep scourge to deal with gods.

Actives

I like to get both Greater Purification and Shield of the Underworld after I have acquired Hastened Fatalis. Greater Purification is great against mages and Guardians because they tend to have good CC and you don't want to get stuck. Secondly Shield of the underworld is great against hunters and assassins because it reflects their damage back at them and prevents them from life stealing.

Strategy

Early Game- Farm for gold, play conservative. unless someone is way out of position, someone is on the brink of death or you have a numbers advantage don't risk getting killed.

Mid Game / Late Game- Once you have gotten Hastened Fatalis it is time to start the killing. I like to gank out of the jungle if I am alone or have a hunter in lane. If you have a guardian you can do it in lane if they have a good CC. But I tend to use Eagles Rally then drop either Shield of the Underworld (if applicable) then Scourge. If they use an ability to get away use shield bash to catch up.

The only difference about late game is that once you have all your items you can be a lot more aggressive. You don't need another teammate to take out two guys. you are pretty damn sustainable by yourself.
