Intro

I made this guide as I found a build that work for me(especially for something like Joust or Assault)
For the other build I use, go to http://www.smitefire.com/smite/guide/ao-kuang-an-in-depth-guide-to-raising-storms-2319
This is my 1st guide, so I am open to any suggestions

***this guide is still in progress. I was asked about my build, and this is just to get it out there for now. I will try to finish it as soon as possible***

Item build

Shoes of Focus Chronos' Pendant

This is what makes this build different. We want to to make the Cooldown as LOW as possible. Having both these items will allow you to basically cast a tornado as soon as the previous one is done. And between them they should give you enough Mana and Mana Regen to not have to worry about mana. Especially if you have the next item aswell

Gem of Isolation

This is really good for Ao Kuang as he can slow multiple gods at once, and as it is really irritating(thus part of the irritation build)

Rod of Tahuti

This is a really good item for any magic god, especially mage type one. Need I say more??

******
After this it depends on the situation

Obsidian Shard is what i normally take, but could be substituted for Focused Voidstone if protection is needed

Powers

TORNADOES

This is the bread and butter of this build(and Ao Kuang if you ask me)
damages many enemy gods at once, and can easily clear a creep wave(especially at full lvl with some nice items)
Max this as soon as you can

SLITHER

I take this early as a way of escaping if needed. But only max it last

SQUALL

Good ranged attack, but I only really put points into it(after the 1st lvl) after I maxed out Tornadoes

Spirit's Tempest

As a pretty powerfull, multi-god ulti it is very good. I recommend it be taken as often as possible. The only exception is if it is on a long cool down(which should be decreased by the items). In that case the order is Tornadoes > Squall >> Slither

Tactics

*** this part will be updated as soon as I get a chance, so this is NOT complete***

Basically, cast your tornadoes as much as you can to case as much frustration as possible

Gem of Isolation is already part of the build. 3rd in fact. but yes, I can see Spear of the Magus working well

As a last item, I usually prefer either Spear of the Magus or Gem of Isolation, because of the effectiveness that both can give late game.

I thank you kindly XD

I reference your build because it is the best "mainstream build", i actually use it regularly. I actually put this up as an alternative, something that people don't expect (a lot of people seem to be following your build). I find this works really well for me in most cases, especially joust and felt i had to share it.

What would you suggest in place of Soul Reaver??

Thank you for mentioning my guide, but it is probably best if you not refer to mine. Simply put, it will reduce the successfulness of your guide if you refer to someone else's guide.

I do not like Soul Reaver on Ao, because the passive is far too uncontrollable for a frequently used DoT ability like Tornadoes. Look for a different item that is easier to manage.

There is not a lot of information here. Ao by himself is irritating to most other Gods, but the build itself is not super annoying. I am on my iPod right now and cannot type very well. I will PM you when I get to my laptop for what you can do.
