If I had to describe Apollo in one phrase it would be,the jack of all trades Adc. Apollo can play aggressive or defensive with his abilities that allow him to escape or attack.

Great split pusher
Fast lane clear
DRAWBACKS

Ultimate mainly for ganking another lane or escaping since it takes to long to use in middle of combat.

After 10 successful basic attacks, Apollo gains Audacity, attacking with both hands and increasing his attack speed by 100% for the next 5 attacks (hit or miss) he makes.

Apollo strums a single chord on his Lyre. It's so beautiful it hurts, and all enemies in a long range line take 80/135/190/245/300 (+80% of your physical power) physical damage.

Cost: 70/75/80/85/90 mana.

Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/11 seconds.

Serenade



Apollo uses his amazing voice to mesmerize all nearby enemies for .7/1.1/1.5/1.9/2.3s and bolster himself with 10/20/30/40/50 additional protections for 5s. Any damage done breaks the effect.
Cost: 75 mana.
Cooldown: 17/16/15/14/13 seconds.
My thoughts

The Moves



Apollo runs forward and slides on his knees, dealing 70/115/160/205/250 (+60% of your physical power) physical damage, knocking aside all enemies and adding a stack of Audacity for each enemy hit. At the end of the slide, the movement speed is decreased for enemies and increased for himself and allies by 5/10/15/20/25% for 2s.
Cost: 70 mana.
Cooldown: 15 seconds.

My thoughts

Across the Sky



Apollo rides his chariot across the sky, choosing when to land, dealing 70/95/120/145/170 (+30% of your physical power) physical damage every .2s for .8s and knocking back enemies when he lands.
Max Damage: 280/380/480/580/680 (+120% of your physical power) physical damage.
Cost: 10 mana + 60 mana per second.
Cooldown: 110/105/100/95/90 seconds.

Summary

Apollo always has a way to be useful

205 physical power + 36+2.5*lvl non item dmg= 291*2= 582 * 50% = 291 + 582 = 873 per crit auto attack not including any buffs.

With red buff 873* 20% Magical and Physical Power, +10 Magical Power, +5 Physical Power = 175.6+ 873= 1048.6 dmg

Then with fire giant buff +50 Physical Power and potion of physical might + 20 and Elixir of Power 25%

Total dmg per crit = 1327

With 50% crit that is about every other shot with a very fast attack rate.

This guide needs to be seen though, rather this BUILD needs to be seen. If you take a look at the name of this guide, this is probably meant to be a build only guide. A build that works for adc's quite well!

(TBH I wanted to do a adc build guide, because there was none, but I didn't hit send because I didnt want to select a god as it was a adc build and not a god build, so I didn't click send and one day later this guy takes my idea. Funny isn't it?)

I agree that there are some guides who are upvoted just because they are pretty, but shouldn't be because their core builds and info is wrong/bad. But just because the build that this guy gave is a good one, doesn't mean it's a good guide. An example would be that new Nu Wa guide - Nu... Waaaah?. It's pretty, but the build is mediocre, the skill is also so-so, gameplay is lacking etc. People upvoted it because it looks nice and in first sight seems okay, but it's just a mediocre guide.

In this guide, the skill order isn't so good, there is a lack of general explanations - items, skills, and most importantly, GAMEPLAY.

Also he didn't credit the people from whom he took the templates, not even TT and hid BBCoding guide.

This is one thing I really started to dislike about smitefire. Awful builds get upvoted, just because the guide looks pretty and detailed, whereas good builds get downvoted, because the guide looks rather bad.

THIS is a really good item build (not agreeing with skill order though). If I would make changes, I would add qin says as a last item possibility (instead of titan's bane) and I would add greater aegis as a optional active to replace beads. Sometimes the need of beads is not that great and you rather want aegis to dodge a huge ****load of damage. (Scylla etc)

TL;DR. This guide is better than (insert random number)% on smitefire, it just needs a bit work to look "pretty" enough. Item info isnt necessary. Just hover over the item and you see what it does. Maybe explain the order though. Teamplay section could also be nice, but thats it.

P.S I would love someone from Smitefire to comment on my post here and explain me why so many bad builds get upvoted simply because of their look. Isn't correct information way more important?

Your guide lacks info:
No items explanation
The skills explanations could be expanded a little more
Role in team fights could be expanded as well

I would also like to mentioned that maxing Serenade before The Moves is better - the damage on The Moves is so mere that the extra duration of Serenade and its cooldown scaling will serve you far better, plus the extra protections.

This guide is not so good. A downvote from me.

Hey no problem, love that your guide says attention of a Gold Fish, so true. Was a real pain searching for every item to select not in categorize lists, was losing attention span. I'll up date when I get a chance.

Here's a guide for coding, it will make this guide purty.
Also, a guide to guidemaking, also very using.
