Garuda the king of the birds, born with a great hatred for Evil.
He roams the universe Devouring the wicked.

Kashyap, Garuda's father, had two wives: Kadru, the elder, and Vinata, Garuda's mother, the younger.

Kadru and Vinata hated each other. They argued over the color of the horse
Uchchaisravas, produced during the Churning of the Ocean after the time
of creation.

They wagered whoever was wrong would become the others slave.
Kadru proved to be right, and as for the agreement, imprisoned Vinata in the nether regions
known as Patala.
Where she was to be guarded by Kadru's sons the serpents.

Garuda, on hearing of his mother's imprisonment, descended to Patala and asked the serpents to release Vinata.
They agreed on the condition Garuda would retrieve for them a cup of amrita(drink of immortality).
So Garuda set off for the celestial mountain where the amrita was kept.
He had to get passed three hazards set up by the gods to guard the drink.

The first hazard was a ring of fire that surrounded the mountain, unable
to go through the flames he extinguished them using the waters from several
rivers.

Next he came upon a spinning wheel that was covered in spikes.
to get passed this he made himself very tiny, and slipped through.

Lastly, Garuda had to defeat two fire-spitting serpents guarding the amrita.
He flapped his wings rapidly and blinded the serpents with dust.
He then proceeded to chop them up with his beak.

Garuda grabbed the amrita, and on his way back fought the god Indra who wanted
to prevent him from achieving his goal. Defeating Indra he delivered the
amrita to the serpents holding his mother hostage, rescuing her and now holding a
hatred for serpents comes to the battlefield to devour the evil gods.

Sky Bound
Passive: When Garuda is in the air his abilities are enhanced also all abilities cost 10% more mana.

Duration: as long as he is in the air



Ability 1: Sand Wave
Garuda sends a wave of Sand that moves in a s pattern. when dusts hit an enemy(god)
the sand waves head off in another direction(not minion it damages and passed through them).
When
Sky Bound two more Sand waves are beside the main one doing 60%
damage of the main Sand.

Damage: 100/140/180/220/260(+75% of your magical power)
Cost: 60/70/80/90/100
Cost when sky bound: 66/77/88/99/110
Cooldown: 11/10/9/8/7s

Ability 2: Water Burst
Garuda blasts a cone of water at enemies pushing them away.
When
sky bound cone is twice as large.

Ability 3: Flight
Garuda goes into the air able to fly over walls(full control in the
air)(not truly cc immune so you can be pulled/stun but not banished/rooted/
or crippled in air you can be silenced but it wont stop your flight just stop you
from using other abilities)

Ultimate: Sky Blade
Garuda attacks foward in a large aoe ability(cc immune). All enemies are swooped upon taking damage.(free movement during ult)
(1 apply per 1.50s as long as they are in the aoe. When
sky bound swoops are applied twice as fast(1 apply per .75s).

Damage: 75/100/125/150/175 (+95% of your magical power)
Radius: 30
Cost: 115
Cost when sky bound: 127
Duration: 5s
Cooldown: 125s

Notes if Sand bounces off a god and hits another one its damage does not change.
Obvious question why no devouring simple answer I hate executes.
Now king of birds he has both titles
reworded the ult hope it's better
increased the % of mana use during the 3, from 2 to 1 to 3 to 1
made abilities cost more when using the 3
lowered the scaling on the 1 from 115% to 75%
limiting the amount of times time allowed to fly over walls.
Sky bound on the 1 has 1 dust wave on each side of the original Sand wave so it would be 3 Sand waves heading for you.
When swooped upon it does the stated damage when swooped upon again it does the same damage no crazy multiplier.

Ok a few comments.

Passive. You can add more to this other than it enchances abilities. Since Im tired today, I cant name some ideas but this part feels sorely lacking.

1. What "direction" do you mean. I am VERY confused on this and would like an explanation. Also the damage feels TOO high for the base damage (Please reduce the scaling cause holy ****). I cant imagine the enchancment with 60% of the original.

2. Mention the distance how far they are pushed back and the radius of the cone. Also the scaling feels a bit high.

3. I wouldnt make this ability go over walls. It would make him really mobile. Although I do like that you mentioned what CC he is immune to and not immune to. Another problem is the mana. 2 per second is a bit much (or too little can someone do the math?) for the early game, make it use more over time instead of the opposite. Also feels lacking, you can do more with it.

4. U said tick damage. You really should make it scale up each time its leveled to make it more useful. Confused on this part as well cause you said tick damage so I assumed as much but I see instant damage with scaling. I also dont see how much the tick damage does. And why is the scaling lower then his 1?

Thoughts: Scaling too high on one, work on passive and confusion on 4.

Game geek I don't see much at the base damage of the 1st ability. yes early it does pretty good base damage (compared to others that are mostly around 90-95) and it ends up in lower damage then most other mages.
However the magic scaling is to damn high. most mages have that scaling on their ult. abilities are mostly around 50-80.

2% can keep you in the air for 50 sec on full mana

I meant the magic scaling, sorry I worded that wrong.

Alo thank you for the math. I would still say change your 3 on mana usage.

To game geek the direction the ability goes is forward when it hits a god it heads in a random direction away from the god it hits.
For the next thing the gods are pushed less than Aphrodite's back off.

The third thing if you can't fly over a wall are you really flying?(maybe I'll limit the amount of times allowed to go over walls not sure if it's the right call)
I made the mana consumption low because you are supposed to use abilitys
when you are using your 3. The work around I'm making is that all abilitys cost
10% more mana while using your 3.

for the ult I've worded it poorly think of it as Guan yu's Cavalry Charge he swoops down and hits enemies moving forward, also adding a time limit to it. It will last 4s

To Devampi will lower the scalling to 75% on the 1.

I would say no flying over walls cause glitches and stuff. People are bound to try it and it happened before actually ( Ao Kuang ult) Jumps are more immediate and quick and you cant get stuck up there.

And I meant for your 3 to use less mana in the beginning then use more over time instead of the way u did it, cause you get more mana as you level up.

Please word your ultimate correctly. I am still confused on it cause you said tick damage.

Uhm then why lvl the ability higher if your flying time goes from 50 sec to 20 sec? it's % mana not a static amount

Please clarify what kind of CC occurs on his ult and his 1. His 1 is...makes enemies "head off in another direction"? His ult "swoops" enemies?
