Master of War (PASSIVE)
Upon giving or receiving hits from basic attacks, Bellona gains +5 protections and +6% movement speed for 5s. (max 5 stacks).
Shield Bash (1)
Bellona dashes forward and bashes with her shield, dealing 80/120/160/200/240 +40% of her Physical Power as damage and slowing enemies 30% for 2s. Bellona gains 1 stack of block for each enemy god hit. Block absorbs all damage from a single basic attack and reflects 30% of the damage in an area around her. Bellona then makes basic attacks with sword and shield until out of combat, and every 3 successful basic attacks she gains another stack of block (max 3). Cooldown: 15s. Cost: 60.
Bludgeon (2)
Bellona summons a Hammer and spins, hitting every enemy around her for 30/60/90/120/150 +25% of her Physical Power, and then smashing forward in an overhand attack dealing 70/130/190/250/310 +60% of her Physical Power as Damage. Each enemy god hit in the spin increases the damage of the overhand attack by +30%. Bellona now makes basic attacks with her Hammer until out of combat. Every Hammer attack hits all enemies in melee range. Cooldown: 10. Cost: 60/65/70/75/80.
Scourge (3)
Bellona summons a Scourge, dealing 60/100/140/180/220 +50% of her Physical Power as damage to all enemies in a line. Enemies hit are Disarmed for 2/2.25/2.5/2.75/3s, and cannot make basic attacks. Bellona now makes basic attacks with a Scourge until out of combat, which has extended range (+4) and every third attack heals Bellona 30/50/70/90/110. Cooldown: 18s. Cost: 70/75/80/85/90.
Eagle's Rally (4)
Bellona plants a Roman flag, granting 15/20/25/30/35 protections and increased physical power by 10/20/30/40/50 to allied gods for 6/8/10/12/14s. Enemies directly under where the flag is placed take 100/200/300/400/500 +50% of her Physical Power as damage and are stunned for 1s.

Once again, this is an abridged version of the official patch notes. For every single detail please read the official patch notes!
So, another wombo-combo god made out of other champions and gods' kits.
Dawngate had a few unreleased shapers. One of them was called Weapon Master (obviously not a finished name.) Her kit involved the EXACT SAME MECHANIC as Bellona - cast ability, get enhanced autos. Her ultimate was also a combination of a ranged AoE attack and a steroid. She didn't have a real passive (basically said that your autos got a specific steroid after using an ability). Just add the typical Smite ****-blend of mobility, CC, and damage, and you have Bellona.
I can't think of any other examples of a auto-boosting per-ability mechanic in other MOBAs. Dawngate's is the only other one off the top of my head. But this is not a coincidence, any more than the other "derivative works" were coincidences.
In every single site or source I read, there is no mention of any link between Lucius Cornelius Salla, who was a real guy, and Bellona. They probably just wanted to shove a man into a goddess's lore for...I dunno, chauvinism's sake? His picture is towering over her. I can't really think of another reason for shoving a completely random guy into a goddess' lore, only related by their Roman-ness, because there are a LOT of roman dudes who killed other dudes and were all warlike and stuff.
That's not even getting into the stuff they ignored, or blatantly lied about, which is a shame, because there's good, lore-making stuff here. One tradition with Bellona (who did have temples), was the War Column (which symbolized roman territory), where a priest would throw a spear over, pointed at the direction toward some poor country that was about to get war'd on. Another was sacrifices...human sacrifices, which may or may not have happened. Or how she was known as "The Destroyer of Cities" (A title she shared with George Washington, and no, I kid you not.) Etc.
Bad lore is bad, bad Dawngate copy is bad, copying Braum skin is bad, Scylla skin looks cool, Ymir remodel looks cool, golden porn is golden porn.
Yeah, that's pretty similar. Her 2 (while not stated in the tooltip) gives her a cone-shaped AoE basic attack. And her passive is a big slap to the face to Sobek's lmao.
I wouldn't really call her "another wombo-combo god" but her kit is pretty bloated. Blocking, disarm, stun, aoe auto's, healing, seperate hit progressions, aaand self/team buffs. She's hella fun though, I've got to admit.

She feels really weird. The fact that every basic ability becomes a stance-based auto attack modifier leaves her really versatile but also...really weird. You can only really utilize one at a time, and it means if you nerf one of her things, you nerf an entire playstyle (tank, warrior, or duelist), which'll leave the stance completely unused. Her balancing is gonna be REALLY tough

As for the whole weapons master thing, well, it's not really new that Hi-Rez is copying others ideas. Not extremely pleased about it, but what are you gonna do. However, how would you know if it's a copy if you haven't played Smite in 3 months, right? ;)
As for the lore thing... Yes, the lore is bad. However, like I said, not something I'm gonna flip about. If there's anything you should be crying about, it's the balance. She awfully strong, and me and my friends love to guess which enemy is going to pick Bellona, because she's so incredibly broken there's no reason not to pick her.
But for the most part, you're pretty much spot on.

happens in every moba for me the darius (LoL) and Axe (doto) ult are exactly the same (only difference is axe one has a real threashold and gets perm reset on a kill and darius only for 20 sec)
