Wards

Like the title says this post is about wards.
This is basically a question to you guys! so please anserw it ;)

I used to play alot of League of Legends, and in lol wards are as important as your build.

I've noticed that alot of people dont use wards in Smite.
So my question is how important are they, and where should they be placed for optimal use?
(Yes i know you should always ward "Gold Fury" and "Fire giant"

So i recently started playing Joust alot, because i think the 1v1 mode is very fun! :D
It only took me a few days before i realized; there is only 1 good tactic in that mode.
Its this simple...

Push, and dont die!
Buy 4 offensive items, and 2 defensive items.
The defensive items depend if the enemy is AD or magical.

When you play im joust mode it is basically about staying in your lane, and pushing asap.
If the enemy goes for buffs, you simply push, and i guarantee you will win.
I have only ever lost 1 game in joust. i had a 5-0 score, but i went for buffs, and the enemy-Ra pushed my tower and Pheonix. boom.. i lost..

The reason not to buy atackspeed in Smite!

Before we started playing "Smite", we played lots of "League of Legends", "Heroes of Newerth" and DoTa. What these games all have in common is that you simply target the enemy, and then you are 100% hitting with basic atacks.
What is different with "Smite" is that you have to aim with your basic atack, so its basically a skill shot like your abilities.
So if you focus on crit and dammage you only have to aim for a few hits. But if you buy alot of attackspeed it is essential that you hit the enemy with all hits.

This is just for ranged carries. with Melee we think attackspeed is awesome! :)
